For your application you just need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56327 which tees in behind the tail lights on your 2020 Ford Transit Connect and then pulls power directly from your battery. For your 2017 Ford Transit T150 I suggest the Draw-Tite # 75912. This is a 2 inch, Class III trailer hitch receiver confirmed to fit your van. All of the hardware is included and no drilling is required for installation.
If your Transit does not have the factory tow package you can use # C56327 for a 4-way trailer connector and you can add the # ETBC7 kit if you need a 7-way.
